I am Santosh Devi Murarka and I am 72 years old. My journey started when I was born in Nawalgadh, Rajasthan on 4 July 1943 and had a fun filled childhood with my nine siblings. During our times, girls were married young and at the age of fourteen, I was married to my husband who lived in Lahan, Nepal. It was quite a change for me having to adjust to married life at a tender age.

My life has been a beautiful journey and I am lucky to have had a very supportive husband along with my four children. Throughout my life, I have tried my best to a good human being – the best possible wife to my husband and a mother to my children. Besides my immediate family, I also feel that we as individuals have a responsibility towards society and the community we belong to and that is why, I would like to share my experiences, stories and learning.

I hope that you feel inspired or learn something from my Yaatra or Journey. I am thankful to my children and my husband for providing the support to make me who I am today.
